Area Fishing
Fishing has always been the great part of the old west. It is truly every cowboy and cowgirl's leisure hobby. The many farm and ranch ponds and spring-fed creeks around Freedom play host to several fishing tournaments big and small during the spring and summer months. Fishing is one of the better ways to "get close to nature".
